Policy governing respectful conduct, reporting, moderation, and professional behavior across vUSAF systems and events.
vUSAF is committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, and enjoyable virtual aviation community. This policy applies to vUSAF websites, events, Discord or voice communications, training environments, forums, mission briefings, and related platforms.
vUSAF does not permit harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, discrimination, doxxing, stalking, impersonation, abuse of authority, deliberate disruption of events, or retaliation against members who report concerns in good faith.
Members are expected to use appropriate language and maintain a professional tone in Discord, voice channels, VATSIM communications, mission briefings, training sessions, and administrative discussions.
Members should report conduct concerns through official vUSAF leadership or designated administrative channels. Reports should include relevant details such as date, platform, individuals involved, screenshots, logs, or witnesses where available.
vUSAF leadership may review reports, preserve relevant records, issue warnings, restrict access, remove members from events, suspend accounts, or separate members from the organization when necessary.
Retaliation against any person who makes a good-faith report or assists in a review is prohibited and may result in administrative action.
This policy supplements vUSAF rules, training standards, Terms of Service, privacy policies, and applicable VATSIM or VSOA requirements.
