2. Nature of the Organization

3. User Accounts and Membership

Membership and account access are privileges granted by vUSAF. Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting login credentials, and complying with membership, training, and operational requirements.

  • Members must not share accounts or credentials.
  • Members must provide accurate application and contact information.
  • vUSAF may suspend, restrict, or terminate access for misconduct, inactivity, security concerns, or policy violations.

4. Acceptable Use

Users may not use vUSAF systems to harass others, disrupt operations, impersonate officials, compromise security, distribute malicious content, or violate VATSIM, VSOA, or vUSAF standards.

5. Training and Operational Content

vUSAF training materials, mission products, operating procedures, ranks, awards, and operational concepts are intended for virtual aviation use only. They do not create real-world military authority, certification, or qualification.

6. Limitation of Liability

vUSAF services are provided on an “as available” basis. vUSAF does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free systems, data availability, or continued operation of any website, module, event, or service. Users participate voluntarily and at their own risk.

7. Intellectual Property

Original vUSAF content, documents, graphics, patches, training materials, website layouts, and organizational materials are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property principles. Third-party trademarks, aircraft names, logos, and references remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Policy Enforcement

vUSAF leadership may interpret, enforce, and amend these terms as necessary to protect organizational integrity, member safety, operational order, and compliance with applicable community standards.

9. Updates

vUSAF may update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of vUSAF systems after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

This page is intended for vUSAF administrative and community governance purposes. It should be reviewed periodically and updated as organizational systems, policies, or legal requirements change.
